Women are Agent of Change,Must Train Their Children Properly. ….Gov Bello

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has described women as agent of Change, urging the women to properly train their children for better tomorrow.
Governor Bello who made this call while speaking at the opening ceremony of quarterly meeting of the 19 State Nothern wives of governors holding in Lokoja, Kogi State capital.
The theme of the 19 Northern states governors wives forum meeting is Say No to Drug Abuse , while the rehabilitation centre built and funded by them would be commission on Wednesday by wife of the president, Hajia Aisha Buhari.
The governor stated that those who indulged in drug abuse are the most dangerous persons in the society.
“For you to deem it fit that those that have been abused be rehabilitated. The society that are getting it righ, it is women and if the society is getting wrong it is still women,”he said
Bello therefore urged women to bring up their children up properly,stressing that they must tie their wrappers for greater tomorrow of their children.
“It is because my mother trained me properly, that is why I am here today. Women must bring up their children”,Bello noted.
He added that women generally have role to play in the life of those abusing drugs,urging that them to change the life of the people now.
Hello also commended the the wives of 19 States governor for wonderful work they have doing the region.and Nigeria in general.
The of Wife of Bauchi State Governor, Hajia Hadiza Mohammed who is the chairperson of the forum stated that everybody should be an advocate of drug abuse.
She explained that the forum was in kogi State to hold the quarterly meeting and that the rehabilitation centre built by forum will be officially commissioned.
Earlier in her welcome address, the wife of Kogi State Governor, Hajia. Rashida Bello And founder of Kogi Women and Youth Advance Foundation, stated that the theme of the meeting is Say No To Drug Abuse.
Hajia Bello noted that this theme is both timely and necessary, stressing that there is an epidemic of drug abuse ravaging the North and other part of the Country.
“We can not keep silent i face of such widespread destruction of lives potentials among our people. We are today to join our strong voices with other well meaning citizen to Say No To Drug Abuse,” she said.
