Thanks to hard work, commitment and perseverance, tall, beautiful and unassuming lady of arts, Ziduak Fidelis has eventually reached the Promise land in her gifted profession – show business.
It was actually her quest to carve a niche for herself and stand out that has slowed her down. But since she finally hit the arena with an album four years ago, there has been no stopping her.
The album titled: ‘Wisdom for Freedom,’ according to her, opened the door of successes.
A devoted member of the Loveworld Church (Christ Embassy) where she is visibly identified with its choir and all social activities, Ziduak’s brand of music is unique, in fact the first of such a genre.
“I wanted to make a difference from what the others are doing and created my own pattern. And I’m happy that I have succeeded with it at last.
“I play gospel pop-rap and it’s accepted everywhere, even at the secular level.
“The video did it all and opened the floodgate. Consequently, I have performed in many concerts both at the local and international level since its release in 2014. They include the five editions of the International Music Concert of Loveworld (Christ Embassy) in Lagos with the ‘Hip Up Girls’ and the Festival of Music and Arts in South Africa last year which the church sponsored.’’
The Akwa Ibom State-born bundle of talent who is rounding off her studies at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) in Diplomacy and International Studies, believes that it’s her turn to shine has come, and would want music lovers to access the video on YouTube (Ziduak de boss) for confirmation.
She however plans to drop her new work soon.
