Ultima Limited, West Africa’s leading TV reality and game-show producers, announced its evolution as a company with the unveiling of a new brand identity. The modernization of the look and feel will see Ultima transform from its famous blue colour, to a purple word-mark, which will now be eminent in all branded communications and experiences.
The transformation of its identity was inspired by the company’s desire to thrive in the digital age, as well as cement its position as a futuristic, creativity-driven, well-grounded family entertainment company. Thus, reflected in the purple colour, which combines the calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red; and is often associated with royalty, power and ambition.
“Ultima prides itself on being a 360-degree media and production company, that harnesses existing and emerging communications technologies in the delivery of content to a constantly evolving world, said Femi Ayeni, CEO, Ultima Limited.
Thus, creating a modern brand identity that will thrive in both digital and traditional spaces, was very fundamental to our decision to evolve to this simple, yet noble design,” he added.
The evolved logo will be rolled on to all Ultima’s products, productions, communications and experiences, beginning with the new TV format acquisitions of Family Feud and Lions’ Den.
In addition, Ultima Limited has also announced that, as from April 2018, its content delivery platform, GET TV, will be changing its corporate name to UltimaNG. This change is also in line with the company’s desire to align all its assets, under the recognizable brand name, Ultima.
In alignment with the adoption of a new name, the content delivery platform will launch a new website, www.ultima.ng, and convert all current assets bearing the GET TV name, to UltimaNG.
