At least four people have been confirmed dead and about 45 injured as two suspected child suicide bombers blew themselves up in a phone market on Sunday in Potiskum, Yobe State.
The latest incident comes les than a day after the army had repelled insurgents attack on the state capital of Damaturu.
Reports say both girls aged 10 had gone to the market pretending to want to buy phones before detonating their explosives.
Though the number of casualties is yet to be confirmed, rescue workers are working to clear market while it has been condoned off by security operatives.
The latest incident comes a day after another child suicide bomber killed at least 16 people in Maiduguri’s popular Monday market.
Yobe has frequently been targeted by extremist group Boko Haram who have claimed responsibility for a number of recent attacks in the country.
