Tithing Is A Kingdom Investment Ordained By God, Says Cleric

Reverend(Mrs.) Florence Nwosu, of the Earth Is The Lord’s Ministries, Asaba, has added her voice to the relevance of tithing in Christendom.
She averred that it is a God ordained assignment; backing up her argument with relevant Biblical quotations.
“Tithing, offering and seeds you sow make up kingdom investment. These are the things that make up kingdom investment.
“If you don’t invest in the kingdom you cannot expect to reap from where you didn’t sow. The Bible says where your treasure is that is where your heart will be.
“God did not demand tithe so that He can bring us down. It’s for our blessing. God is already blessed so you don’t bless God.
“When you honour God with your substance God use it as a test to see if we can show Him love. From what He has given to us can we just give him a tenth.
“According to the word of God in Malachy chapter 3 from verse 8. He says: ‘will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed me. But you say, in what ways have we robbed you? In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse: for you have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes in the store house so that there may be food in my house. And try me now in this says the Lord of host if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessings that there will not be room enough enough to receive it.’
“So, whatever we receive or whatever we have we receive it from God. And He commanded us to give him just a tenth of every income. I don’t know why people are arguing about it.
“Those arguing about it should know that God is not a beggar. God wants to bless us that is why He said we should give Him a tenth and when we give devourers would be removed and windows of heaven would be opened to pour His blessings on us.
“Every giver is a receiver. If you don’t sow you won’t reap. Whatsoever a man sows that he will reap.”
