Shut Up, PDP Tells Dakuku

APC:  Obuah and his team are suffering from memory loss

Paul Obiajunwo, Port Harcourt

The Chairman, Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Bro Felix Obuah says it’s surprised that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate, Dakuku Peterside has continue making noise after being defeated in the last general election.

Obuah said Dakuku should learn to shut up because he lost election to a more qualified and popular PDP candidate, Chief Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, adding that the allegation of mortgaging the State against Governor Wike is the outburst of an aggrieved loser.

The Rivers PDP chairman who spoke yesterday through his special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam said Peterside should join hand with governor Wike and support his vision and laudable achievements in the state.

He accused Dr. Peterside of dishing out outright falsehood, blackmail and malicious information aimed at causing disaffection between the people and the State Government under Wike’s command.

According to Obuah: “Dakuku should shut up,   he is not being appreciative and for failing to acknowledge Governor Wike’s  achievement  in just five months in office then he doesn’t exhibits the character of a good Rivers man.

“He knows that what his benefactor,  Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi could not do in four years, Dakuku who served as Commissioner for Works, under Amaechi cannot do it  if elected as governor. Of course, Rivers People cannot make such mistake of having him as governor.”

But in a response yesterday the APC Publicity Secretary, Chris Finebone accused Obuah and its media team in the state of suffering from outright memory loss.

Finebone said the PDP in the state should stop crying over the outcome of election tribunals which have confirmed the position of Dr. Dakuku Peterside and the APC that the so-called election in Rivers State was a non-event as it was marred by massive violence and not conducted in substantial compliance with the relevant laws.

He said: If Wike and the PDP prefer to continue to delude themselves by living in their fools’ paradise believing that they won any election when the law says otherwise, then they definitely  they need help and very quickly too.”
