Chief of Staff to the Rivers State Governor, Engineer Chukwuemeka Woke has stated  that the  Wike administration  will enhance key empowerment  programmes  for the people of the state.
Speaking during a luncheon for Ikwerre Elders and Chiefs on Monday , Engineer Woke noted that the Wike administration will continue to  carry  all communities  along in the execution  of key programmes.
Engineer Woke said: “The governor  is the governor  of Rivers State and he will reach out to all ethnic groups  of the state. So far, the governor  has done exceptionally  well”.
The Chief of Staff  added: “In the next two years, more empowerment  programmes  will come on stream. This administration  is focused on reaching  out to  the people”.
According to him, before  the end of the first term, more people will be reached through various  empowerment packages  by the Wike administration.
He urged the Ikwerre Elders and Chiefs to sustain their  support  for Governor Wike, assuring  them that the governor  will continue to work for the people.
Earlier, Chairman of the Ikwerre Elders and Chiefs, Prince Paul Wonodi said Ikwerre leaders  must create the right environment for Governor Wike  to deliver projects  to the people of the state.
He charged Ikwerre leaders  to work for peace in their respective  communities, so that Governor Wike can work without  distractions.
Wonodi said: “We must work for peace in all Ikwerre communities.  This is not a partisan affair.  We will support this administration to succeed for the  benefit of the entire state.
“We must make sure there is peace in Ikwerre land. We need peace to ensure that the governor  develops our communities “.
