  • Saraki, Dogara, Oyegun risk sack… if…
  • Economic recovery underway

By Ajibola Abayomi,

Primate Elijah Ayodele

Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele (JP), founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke-Afa, Lagos, Nigeria, who prefers to be simply addressed as Servant of the Most High is noted for his annual predictions and many agree they have been accurate for over the past two decades.

He had among others, predicted economic recession in Nigeria since 2013, emergence of: Donald Trump as President of the United States; Nana Ado as Ghana President; and Rotimi Akeredolu as Ondo State governor.

For 2017, he is urging those in authority to see prophesy as Spiritual Security Report and that “if there is a man to pray, there is a God to answer. If those concerned can pray, God will show mercy and be by their side.”

Consequently, he is quick to warn on the followings:

President Muhammadu Buhari will invest massively in infrastructure and few other things. He must however pray that “his efforts won’t be futile, because I foresee that the impact of the funds he plans to inject into the economy may not be felt by the people.

“The country needs cleansing. If the foundation is rotten, what can the righteous do? Nigeria economy will experience stability for a while in the New Year, but the economic crisis will linger on until the government takes the right steps. By 2018, the economy will start picking up, electricity will be more stable and new oil base will be discovered in some states. Government will generate more money.

“I hope Buhari will be focused on the right things, because large sums of money will be recovered from looters. However, the masses will mount pressure on the government to give detailed account of the money collected and how it was spent through protest. The development will have adverse effect on the current regime such that the yearnings and aspirations of the masses will not be met. (President) Buhari should make people the centre piece of his policies; otherwise he will not be appreciated. “No amount of bail out will rescue the nation from recession because both the Federal Government and several states government have taken some wrong steps.

“Governors of Kwara, Imo, Oyo, Kaduna, Sokoto, Ebonyi, Niger and Rivers should pray not be disgraced and indicted for corruption. Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State too should seek the face of God not to be found wanting for corruption after leaving office and some past governors as well. The Acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Mangu won’t be appreciated while in office, except he seeks divine intervention. The fight against corrupt will not progress as expected, because government will develop cold feet along the way and some important targets will be missed. God will not be happy and corruption will fight back.

“If the previous government said corruption was petty stealing, it is also not right for the current government to play politics with budget padding. Budget padding that was treated like child’s play in 2016 was not a good omen. Attempt will be made to rubbish former President Goodluck Jonathan, but he will overcome all the obstacles and even win some laurels and be appointed to lead peace initiatives in the country. But his wife, Patience Jonathan may not have it easy.

“I foresee fire outbreak in the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) branch in a particular state. Prayers should be offered so that some of the staff of the bank will not die. Certainly, there will be redeployment of directors and top management staff. The CBN is not implementing the right monetary policy. The institution needs to retract some of its policies. Black market will be eradicated but that is not the only solution to the dwindling fortune of Naira.

“There will be mass sack of workers in the following banks: Fidelity, Diamond, Access, Heritage, Wema, Aso Savings And Loans.

“Death is also hovering on a particular Chief Executive Officer of a notable bank. Let us cry to God for mercy.

“Fake N500 notes in large quantity will be discovered in a northern state. In the aviation sector, there will be protest by workers of Lufthansa and Dana airlines.

“The civil service will witness sweeping changes that will anger the workers.

I foresee security operatives halting moves to attack some of our airports but they should be more vigilant to forestall terror attacks as well. Prayers should be offered against inferno in major markets in Anambra, Lagos and Oyo states.

In the telecom sector, MTN, Airtel and Glo should rebuke litigations that will affect their operations. I foresee review of tariff by the companies at different times later.

“Nigeria will have crisis relating with China if care is not taken and that will lead to strained relationship with America. President Buhari needs to rebuke international condemnation against his government.

“The President of America, Donald Trump should be careful not to pursue aggressive foreign policies as it will back fire on his government. The consequences will lead to terror attack on the United States. I can also foresee meltdown in no distant time in the country.

“The country needs prayers. I pray that no evil will come upon America. Germany, Britain, Saudi Arabia, France and Spain should be vigilant against terror attack in 2017. The effect will be highly devastating.

“In Africa, the spirit of the Lord is asking Congo, Gambia, Guinea Bissau and Burkina Faso to pray against serial killings.  Ghana’s President, Nana Ado should be advised not to probe past leaders, otherwise his government will collapse. As revealed to me, the next President of Benin Republic will come from a Yoruba speaking tribe in that country. There will be (military) coup in some countries.

“Permanent cure for cancer and HIV will be discovered but another terminal disease will spring up. We need prayers to stop the spread particularly in Africa.

“There will be serious political realignments from 2017. At the end of the day, aggrieved members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will form another strong party.

“Ex-President Jonathan will be betrayed politically by his former aides and even his former Vice President, Namadi Sambo. PDP will do everything to come back to the limelight through Jonathan but that will not work. Buhari will disappoint APC. The National Chairman of the party, John Oyegun will encounter crisis and there will be calls for his removal.

“Buhari and former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu will part ways after several failed meetings. The President will go ahead to team up with some South West politicians with hope of upstaging Tinubu.

“There will be change of cabinet yet the President will not get it right politically. There will be gang ups against Vice President Yemi Osinbanjo. He needs prayers so as not to be robbed politically.

“The crisis in the Senate will rear its head again. Senate President Bukola Saraki needs prayer to survive in office. The Senate will query Buhari on some expenditure (heads). The Senate will be more polarised and the Code of Conduct Tribunal case against Saraki will take another dimension. The Senate President will be surrounded with too many crises, except he does the bidding of his party.

“The Speaker of House Representatives, Yakubu Dogara will face antagonists both from his constituency and in the House. If he underrates prayer, he will end up taking some wrong decisions.

“The Governor of Anambra state, Willy Obiano should not attempt to join the APC otherwise he will be disgraced politically.

“The move by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to lead a political coalition emanating from a faction of the PDP will suffer a setback. He needs prayer to forge ahead.

“The governors of Abia, Imo, Kaduna, Akwa Ibom, Kaduna and Kano states should pray against crises that may rattle them politically.

“Note this beforehand, Buhari’s second term is dicey. Like I told Late President Umaru Yar’Adua, I will advise him to watch his health and shelve the idea of second term.  Although with God all things are possible. If Buhari does not put his house in order, he is likely to be defeated like his predecessor. The President will have misunderstanding with his ministers particularly the minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi. Let him pray so that his government will not begin to crack from 2017.

“Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai will take some unpopular decisions that will affect his government. I hope he will have a change of heart.

“Let the people pray to avert bombings in the nation again. Prayers should be offered against ethnic and communal crises in Kaduna, Kano, Jigawa, Kwara, Zamfara, Yobe states, Ekiti, Jigawa, Adamawa Taraba, Benue, Zamfara, Yobe, Plateau, Benue and Abuja.

“The following states should be prepared to counter serious flooding: Benue, Kogi, Lagos, Bayelsa, Osun, Edo, Ekiti and Cross River.

“The military and the Police should commit their operations against Boko Haram to the hands of God otherwise I foresee their loosing useful and capable (experienced) senior officers to the terror groups. But, if they pray well, the losses will be minimised. The Navy will be attacked on the sea but the security outfit will resist illegal refineries in some areas.

“Junior army officers will stage protest and some soldiers will be court-martialed.  Let the Chief of Army Staff and Defence Staff be careful so that petitions will not work against them.

“Police officers particularly the senior officers should rebuke incessant death.

“God owns life. He is the only one that can guarantee human existence but let these people heed the following warnings ahead of time.

“Buhari should pray not to be bereaved.

“Nnamdi Kanu should pray against ill-health in prison. Government should be advised to negotiate his release because if anything happens to him, it will cause crisis.

“There will be appointment of new Secretary to the Federal Government, Chief of Staff to the President.

“Former Lagos State Governor, Lateef Jakande, Alex Ekweme, Ernest Shonekan, Emeka Offor and Bamanga Tukur should pray for good health. Andy Ubah must pray against being dragged into unexpected litigations and debt. Former CBN Governor, Charles Soludo should wait for the right time to join politics, otherwise his effort will be futile. Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari should rebuke what will distract him politically. Sunny Odogwu needs prayer for God’s protection. Stella Oduah should pray not to lose her political target.  Aliko Dagote and Arthur Eze need fervent prayer against debt. Dangote should be careful about his investments in some African countries. Otherwise, he will incur huge debts. Let him reject attempt to drag him into politics.

“Sunny Odogwu and Sunny Kuku should pray for safety. We should rebuke the death of a former CBN Deputy Governor.

“A prominent man of God is about to embark on journey of no return, please pray for this respected pastor,” Primate Ayodele urged.
