Kogi central senatorial aspirant berates  PDP leadership,  says Ogembe Emergence is Charade

A front line Politician and Senatorial aspirant for Kogi Central senatorial district seat on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Honourable Muhammad Hasheed Omeiza Ajanah  described  Kogi Central Senatorial primaries as a charade, blaming the leadership of the party  for their inconsistencies.

Ajanah who made this known while speaking at Press briefing with journalists in Lokoja on Wednesday, expressed disappointment over the way and manner the primary was conducted in Okene .

He pointed out that he along with other aspirant A K Salihu and delegates waited for several hours at the accredited venue of the senatorial primaries without the primary election committee .

He alleged that the incumbent Senator Ahmed Ogembehad  hijacked the materials and went into hiding  where he was affirmed as the Party flag bearer.

Ajanah berated the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party for playing cheaply into the hands of some politician routing for automatic ticket, adding that nobody can pocket him and ready to seek redress at appropriate quarters

He lamented that after collecting several millions of naira for nomination forms and being cleared by former Minister for Works, Dr. Mike Onanameme led screening committee and received  certificate of clearance, they are now talking about automatic ticket .

“There is no automatic ticket  anywhere . There is no free food even in Freetown .  Affirmation is undemocratic and unacceptable   I will seek redress . No moneybag can cow me . I am just coming from PDP Secretariat where I have formerly lodged my complaints .

“After waiting till 6.00 pm in the evening, I and Honourable AK Salihu urged our supporters to be calmed and ordered then  leave the venue of the primary after waiting for several hours without the PDP election committee, “he stressed .
