Height Can’t Discourage Me From Miss Nigeria Crown – Candy City Reigning Queen

The pretty and sexy looking Nneke Somto Vivian, the current reigning queen of Candycity Entertainment has said her average height cannot discourage her from eyeing Miss Nigeria crown.

Candycity Entertainment, the organizer of the beauty pageant with its head office located in Lagos is an online platform that creates, promotes and manages models.

Miss CandyCity queen disclosed this when she visited the Port Harcourt office of Vantage Press Limited, the publisher of The Post to unveil her charity projects.

Miss Vivian, a graduate of Micro Biology from Madona University, located in  Elele,  Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State said she has everything that would make her win Miss Nigeria and Miss World even with her average height.

She said during the contest that led to her emergence as a winner of the keenly contested pageant, it was there she understood that even her average height cannot discourage her from contesting for higher crown in future.

“Before now I don’t believe myself when it comes to modeling and beauty pageant show, I use to believe that the show is meant for girls who are very tall. That was why when my friend called me to inform me about the pageant I almost turn her advice down because I don’t believe in it.

“But I was surprised when I emerged one of the three top finalists and later I was crowned as the winner. It was after I was declared winner that I told my father about it. Because, I was afraid that my father would not accept my involvement into the show, due to my modest family upbringing, but today I am glad for everything.

On her project, the Imo State born Candy city Queen said she will like to support other Non-governmental Organizations that are already into cancer awareness instead of registering her own organization.
She said if there is anything that could make her happy; it is

to create awareness on the deadly cancer disease in Nigeria and to care for helpless Nigeria children.

She noted that time has come when Nigerian politicians should allow the female folk to take over the leadership of this country as Nigerian President of this country and governors of their state.

She said: “I am unhappy the way cancer is spreading, of course, prominent Nigerians have gone down do to cancer. So as a reigning queen with a limited resources my plan is to ensure that everyone especially women in the rural areas are aware of the deadly disease.

“There are many children out there looking for help, there are those who have nothing to eat, I want to reach them, I want to create awareness on their plight. I think this is the right time for the women in this country to be given an opportunity to assume the position of power like becoming President and governors of this country. “
