The Minority Leader of Ekiti state House of Assembly Hon Olugboyega Aribisogan, has described the government of Ayodele Fayose as a disaster that must not be allowed to repeat itself in the state.
Speaking at the Ekiti North Senatorial District meeting of the All Progressive Congress (APC) on Wednesday, the APC lawmaker said Ekiti people have been pauperised and impoverished by the draconian and wicked economic policies of the… governor.
According to him ” Fayose has made life very difficult for Ekiti people. Despite all he had received from the Federal Government as statutory allocations, he failed to put up structures that can bring succour to the people of the state.
He has continued to deceive Ekiti people with grandiose projects that cannot generate any income to the state. He mismanaged the resources and failed to pay salaries of workers and pensioners. He stiffled the economy and made himself the sole beneficiary of all that accrued to the state. He turned himself to a megalomania Emperor who continued to squander Ekiti money on frivolities ”
The lawmaker urged Ekiti electorate to stop the Governor from succeeding himself with a stooge who will not only be a cashier but a surrogate that will continue to dance to his whims and caprices. As Ekiti people, we must not make another mistake of allowing Fayose to supplant himself with a weakling.
APC stands a better chance and we will win. We are the alternative government and by next year we shall return to government We must all go out and tell the world that Fayose has failed us as a people We must from now tell our people his numerous sins”
On party mobilisation, the lawmaker enjoined all leaders and members of APC in the Senatorial District to begin house to house mobilisation create more awareness on the need to flush out Fayose and his party out of the government house in 2018.
He however advised member to stop making disparaging comments about the aspirants of the party adding that it will not only destroy the chances of those aspiring but the unity of the party.
