In Few Days, Fuel Queues Will Disappear – Osinbajo

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has assured that the scarcity of premium motor spirit (PMS) being currently witnessed in the country would soon be over.

He gave the assurance in Lagos Monday morning when he went out carry out on the spot checks situation in the country.

According to series of tweets by Laolu Akande, Special Adviser to the Vice President on Media, Osinbajo also meet with the major oil marketers.

He said the government would continue to engage the marketers so “this sad episode is not repeated.”

“VP Osinbajo on Christmas day continues on the spot checks on the fuel situation today with visits to the depots in Apapa. He reassures Nigerians that FG working round the clock to end the problem. He then met with oil executives in a close-door session & a media chat afterwards.

“Held a meeting with the major Oil marketers this morning. Within the next few days, we expect the fuel queues to be eliminated. We will continue to engage the marketers so this sad episode is not repeated.” Akande twitted
